Linkever since teto got her synthv and went mainstream since like 2024 or early 2025 literally all the miku duet songs ive heard just haveeee to include her or neru bro. IM NOT SAYING ALL THE SONGS R BAD like I love melt ice cream it genuinely gives the vibe of older 2000s songs w the tuning and that surprises me w how tetos synthv sounds. BUT. there is like hella too many to the point the better ones get clumped in w all the lazier or crappy or repetitive songsss and i dont want to say oh they’re all mesmerizier copies!! BUT. a lot have similar tuning and u CANNOT say that they aren’t getting at least some inspo cus like majority of the mvs are miku and teto doing dances w only a few frames and they r always on the same sides of the screen teto is NEVER on the left. also like mesmerizer was good but it wasn’t all that i gen got sick of it after a month of the over hype and the WHERES THE THIRD ONE???? joke… also channelcaststation is disgusting absolutely hate his art style so thst DIDNT rlly help 💔

Linkand since teto is now the token vocaloid right next to miku there have been NOOOO songs of like rin len Kaito meiko luka gumi gakupo etc since 2024 and if there was they were VERY unnotable or remasters of old songs. neru songs w rins vb doesnt count btw cus rhat is NOT my kagamine rin. the only other one ppl have been using is zundamon and she’s not all that either Im ngl she’s cute ig but like she’s NOT og. ppl pretend to be like so retro triple baka etc w neru and ummm haku?? idk the gray one I forgot her name but completely neglect all the others bro 💔💔 i only started in the vocaloid fandom in 2022 2023 and I still like them all more. JUSTICE for kaito and luka btw

LinkI love teto but her synth annoys me half the time cus they don’t tune her right and she sounds too ai or like too human if u get wim, bc she’s like ai enhanced w synthv so ppl dont bother trying to tune her to make her sound like the other vocaloids who r more robotic and she ends up sticking out asf. also i just think her utau sounds more pleasant idk if it’s just cus I was used to her utau by the time her synth was released but I rlly feel the voice just sounds a lot better pitched up…

Okay I get that criticism I really do but those are all the songs hyped up because of their mesmeriser inspiration ok.... teto is genuinely an amazing voicebank and she brings tons of people together if you ignore the mesmeriser side of things all of her songs are AWESOME dude... she has a beautiful voice and an iconic design and tons of people and artists find comfort in her silly smug character and I just find that so wonderful. She's come such a long way too, from being a simple joke character all the way up to being one of the most recognised and beloved faces of the community and that's a wonderful thing to see especially when you compare her earlier songs to her synthv the covers hit DIFFERENT DUDE
There's plenty of artists that still use the other cryptonloids and other voicebanks as well but like I said they dont get the overhyped attention. Project sekai features a lot of great and really underrated ones
I agree her voice IS good and she can stand out in stand alone songs (irregular man, birdbrain) w/o duets since she has a more powerful/solid voice compared to miku but I’m saying overall she has just taken over the entire fandom and over powered the majority of the main cast and it’s rlly easy to get sick of her.. also i definitely would NOT go as far to say ALL of her songs r awesome. that’s not true for any voice bank just logically.. also pjsk does utilize cryptonloids but it’s not done very well considering their usage is lumped in w/ the va characters in songs, and their tuning isnt done very well FOR SOME REASON idk why cus syudous songs sound good usually. but the tuning on usseewa is awful for ex, Luka barely sounds like luka in most places… unless u mean like the virtual singer covers of the songs MADE for the game which I kinda agree w, the virtual singer cover of newly edgy idols is rlly good.
In pjsk its usually that way because they're commissions songs meaning they were made for the vas to sing but since there's both a sekai singer mode and virtual singers mode they have to make a virtual singers cover too for the game which end up sounding a lot more awkward, I mean more the pre existing songs that got added to the game and were already existing songs not made specifically for pjsk, it's good for helping get some smaller names out there. Obviously not literally every song of hers is good its overexaggerated because you'll often find more good than bad songs at least from my search 😭 I see why it'd be easy to get sick of her if you dont think of her as fondly as the rest of the vocaloids since she's literally everywhere haha but oh well
