Hemlock is a young demon boy. During his mortal life, Hemlock was an orphan, and homeless. He often found himself stealing to be able to find food. He was punished by his village by being chained to a tree with blood from raw meat on his face, in a wolf infested forest. They knew that the wolves would come for him once they smelled him. If he didn’t get dragged off by wolves, he would have at least learned his lesson by morning, when they came to check on him. Little did they know that Symphony, an angel, lived nearby. She freed Hemlock and helped him find a good place to stay, at the expense of her own place in the world above. The villagers weren’t pleased when they found out he’d been freed, so his next punishment ended up being execution. That’s how he lost his head. Afterward, he found his way to the underworld, due to him being a thief.
