Well her family is rich, someone ( eventually learned to be Komi's uncle) tried to steal all that money overnight, but Komi had a sleepwalking habit- so when he was attempting to steal all this she "caught" him Although she was asleep, so he quickly took action and had her drink these herbs, that killed her vocal cords.
