@nettle-fern is right on that!!! thats what i do 2 make my art not as harsh i never use black in any of my art if that helps ^_^

I think that instead of using black lines user darker versions of the color the line art is on if that makes sense? It just adds to the “soft” look you are going for

like this would look good with a dark pink, sorry if that’s confusing
