Jane's mother didn't seem to notice Void's momma She just narrow her eyes at void and disgust, "Oh. Your void?- when my daughter said she 'found the one's I expected more....you look, nothing, like I imagined you to be." She said, with an eye roll, she clearly unimpressed "You're one of those....what do they call you again? A 'half-breed?" "Mom-" Jane snapped at her mother "What?!?-" she said, acting innocent, looking at her daughter, then back to void "Isn't that what you are? A 'half-breed?' " she said, almost belittling him, she clearly didn't like him

Jane's mother smiled, more mercifully now "Humble aren't you, my apologies for my rudeness, please, forgive me, it's a certain thing I have to do to assure how 'the one' would handle criticism, or impoliteness." She smiled, pleased with void and his sadness "My apologies, please, come in." She said to the both of them Jane was baffled, she could've believe what she heard, but held Void's hand and guided him in with her

Bro Void's mama is so special- Jane sat down on a clean couch, infact, everything was so clean and fancy, that it almost seemed like a fever dream, Jane's mom stretched her wings, allowing them to show Jane halo and wings now appearing, she looked at the halo and poked at it Jane's mom looked at Jane's halo and sighed of relief, she then snapped her fingers and a servant came in with a tray of desserts "Please, enjoy" she presented the tryna to the two Jane snatched a cook and began to nibble on it

Jane's mom nodded, studying Void's behavior, she then sighed and put her wings away, taking a seat next to Jane Jane's halo and wings going away "So sweety....how did you two meet?" Her mother asked

She chocked on her cookie for a moment then swallowed hard "So uh- a while ago, void was being bullied by some insane candy man guys- so I decided to help him out, ya know, be the swag person I am, so we then got kidnapped by him, then we escaped, got Chinese food aaaaannnnnnddd then end-" Jane said with a content smile Jane's momma looked at the two, confused, "well....that seems.... interesting?-" she said, stunned by the story "It was..." Jane said nodding her head
