Now, I have a plot- and I think you might like, but i dunno. Here it goes; ahememe, so your oc was walking around doing god knows what- when they hear a shrill scream then a gunshot followed after it. WHen they arrived at the scene, little Everleigh, who is 5 yo was shot, shivering, and clutching a stuffed duck. how bout dat?
Here- I shall start.
+Everleigh was crying, and shaking really bad. She didn't understand why her mom would shoot her. Poor thing. Thunder rolled in the distance.+
Zeke looked around, wondering why anyone was shooting at this time, and why there was a scream. He seemed concerned as he walked towards where the shot came from, throwing his hood over his head.
+She looked at her duck, and kissed his head.+ "....m-mommy will be b-back..."
He walked towards Everleigh, his eyes feeling with shock,"I-.I-..Are you alright? are you even,,alive?.." he kneeled beside her, gently poking at her
+Everleigh jumped a little, and bit his finger.+ "D-Don't touch...m-me.." +Her little squeaky voice was shaky, her green eyes filled with fear and pain. The little 5 yo tried to shuffle away from him- but didn't get very far.+
"oW- calm down im only trying to help!" his tail swished in annoyance,"Let me help you- you need patched up,,"
+She sniffled, and looked at him. Everleigh wiggled towards him, and passed out against him once she reached him. She was losing blood fast.+
He picked her fragile body up, wrapping his cloak around where she was shot and applying pressure, he took her to his house, disinfecting the cut and putting bandages around her before laying her down in a spare bedroom on a bed.
+Everleigh woke up a few hours later, and quickly got out of the bed- buuuut fell on the floor.+ "Ouch! Stwuid floor!" +She 'slapped' the floor. In general, she was being a typical 5 yo girl.+
Zeke heard her wake, he was sitting in the kitchen at the table, drinking a cup of tea. His tail gently swished behind him as he thought.
+Everleigh stood up, grabbed Sir Ducky, fixed her little princess dress, and ran down the stairs. WHen she saw Zeke's tail, she giggled in delight- and started to play with it.+
He snatched his tail, putting it his lap,"Good to see you're awake." he sighed, rubbing his head,"I never got your name,,Mines Zeke."
"My name iz Everweigh!" +She pronounced proudly; as she spun in a little circle. Her bloody dress from last night fluffing up.+
"mhmmm, and where is your parents? why were you out there alone?"
"I don't know.." +Everleigh went from happy for a moment to sad real quick.+ "My mommy told me she doesn't want meh anymore..."
Zeke huffed and rubbed her head," Who wouldnt want a sweet little kid like you? Your mum has issues little one, you can stay with me."
He nodded, turning back to his tea,"as long as you stay out of trouble." he flipped open his spell book that was laying on the table, reading the spells quietly
His "pet" was sitting on the floor, The hell hound lifted up their head when they seen Everleigh
+She turned and looked at the hell hound and gasped.+ "Doggy!" +She raced over, and started to pet it.+
Zeke stood up walking into where they were,"I- their name is Zeus,, and they normally dont like anyone,,"
The hound stood up and stretched, basically towering over the 5 year old
The hound bark playfully, bouncing around her.
Zeke sighed and rubbed his eyes,"Be careful around them-"
+She giggled some more, and hugged Zeke's legs. Everleigh looked up at him and smiled.+
Zeke huffed again and looked down at her,"Its like having a little sister agai-..." he got quiet, staring at the ground.
+Everleigh looked at him with her big green eyes, and frowned when she sensed his mood change.+ "You otay, mister?"

"wha- yeah yeah im fine,," he gently shoved her with his tail, crossing his arms,"You know you can just call me Zeke er Z riigghhtt? and maybe just MAYBE, i'll let you call me your brother."
+She smiled as big as she could.+ "I've newer had a brother bewore..."
"I used to have a sister." his face was expressionless, his tail swishing,"You remind me of her,,"
+Ever cocked her head to the side; her salmon pink hair falling with her head.+ "I do?"
"mhm, you have the same energy as her, always bouncing off the walls-" he used his tail to try to pry her off his leg
+She giggled at his tail tickled her neck.+ "That tickles!!" +But her grip never faltered.+
"hhh how am i supposed to go to work if you're attached to me-" he groaned, putting his hands on his hips.
"Dat's easyyy...you take me with you!" +Ever climbed him easily, and sat on his shoulders.+
he stumbled forward,"wait- n o. My jobs not kid friendly,,"
The hound barked, jumping up and down.
"no no no, Malachite will k i l l me-" he huffed
"He's a friend. And he's not good with kids-" mans shuddered from being touch deprived,"sToP ToUcHinG Me"
"Nu!" +Ever hugged his head.+ "Your lonely! You obviously never had anyone since your sister!" +For a 5 yo, Ever seemed smart; which is a bit strange for someone of her age.+
"I DoNt NeEd AnYoNe. I've done so well on my own. And besides, everyone i get close with dies, Thats what happened with Willow,,She's gone bc of me, And if you stay you'll end up like her too." his tail flicked,"Now, I'd love to take u er whatever, but Malachite bites, so no, you cant come."
+Ever huffed.+ "Willow didn't die because of you. She died because god needed her. I was there when she died, even though you couldn't see me."
"excuse me w h a t" he froze, looking at her,"Im the one that decided to take her to "gang business" its my fault she got shot! So please Everleigh, stay here,,"
+EVer huffed.+ "Fine. But I want ice cream when you get back."
((Just for the record- Everleigh is a mix. SO she is part Demon & Angel.))
