Evan walked into the small office building and sat in his cubicle, taking his hat off and setting it on the desk in a place where it wont be in his way in case he had to write with paper and pen.
Shade was reluctantly being a friendly bastard, helping people with anything heavy they needed moved. GoTtA kEeP mUsClE sOmEhOw
he clicked away at his keyboard, getting a little annoyed at a nearby ringing phone.
Shade just tried to ignore the ringing of phones he heard, otherwise he would've snapped one of those phones in half by now.
Lucky for him Egg did, shouting at the guy in the next cubicle to pick up the phone..it sounded even meaner because he spoke in russian..either way it work because he picked up the phone.
Shade paused for a moment when he heard egg speaking Russian, his ears perked, wasn't often that he heard Russian being spoken.
"Agreed" he said it quietly to himself, still working and doing his job.
Lunch soon came around. Egg stood and walked to the small kitchen area they had to get himself food.
Shade moved one last thing before scampering carefully to the kitchen to get his food, he was quite hungry, not to mention he did want to grab his canteen from the fridge too.
He was on his tiptoes just to get a good look at the microwave, swaying his tail a little and resting his head on the counter.
Shade just watched, trying not to giggle as he easily got into the top shelf of the fridge and grabbed his canteen, a wide smile on his face.
"How's the weather down there short stack?" His tail wagged slowly, snickering quietly as he drank some of his canteen.
"dark and stormy"
his muzzle scrunched up then the mic beeped, he pawed at it until he could get it open.
He tried to contain his laughter as he watched "need some help with anything at all?"
he glared and got it open then pulled out the cooked rabbit and trotted off.
"Okay bye pip-squeak" shade laughed quietly, finding his reaction quite amusing.
he ate his food then threw away the plate. he licked his chops and hands(paws?).

Shade just chugged half of the canteen, then put it back in the fridge, his tail wagging slowly as he pulled his lunch bow out of the fridge.

He continued his work again, starting to daze and wait out the rest of the day.

Shade took a piece of raw meat from his lunch box and just put that in his mouth for a moment while he closed his lunch box and put it back.

he stared at the clock then the work then the clock.

Shade just ate the piece of raw meat with no hesitation, then got back to work.
Shade spotted him on his way out, and stopped dead in his tracks, just to ask him again. "How's the weather now short stack?"
"cloudy, how about up there huh? солнечно?" he stared up at him.
(translation:Sunny?)
"Actually, it's snowy and icy" his tail wagged slowly, he personally enjoyed the cold, but egg didn't know that I'd assume.
"hm, glad im not up there, hate to grow my winter coat to soon." he opened the front door and walked out.

Shade noticed this, doesn't help that he liked the sight of it either, so he hesitated for a moment before following egg. "Hey! Got any plans if I may ask?.."
he looked up at him
"If you call sitting in my apartment and crying at russian soap operas plans then no, im not a loser. why?"
"Okie doki then" he thought for a moment, looking down at Egg, casually picking him up for no clear reason, then sniffing him slightly. He then started walking Egg home, his tail wagging slowly.
"какого хрена?" he wiggled around for a moment then went limp

"Your legs looked tired so I thought I'd carry you to your home for ya" that wasn't the only reason, but hey he doesn't have to know that..
"i literally sat most of the day but fine."
his tail wagged a little, he was actually fine with this.
"Gotta admit, I do got muscle" he continued walking, his claws clicking on the pavement as he walked

He followed him happily, his tail wagging still.
he opened the door and walked in, he bet down and picked up a half empty bottle of vodka and too a quick swig and sniffed then trotted off to his room and start yelling at someone in russian and they yelled right back.
His ears were perked out of curiosity, he walked over to the bottle once egg was yelling at the stranger in another room. He crouched down by the bottle and picked it up, glancing around real quick before going bottoms up with the bottle, no way in hell he was gonna let vodka go to waste. He ended up chugging the whole thing, then carefully set the bottle back down and sat on the couch.
Egg pushed out a half naked stranger, still speaking in russian, then plopped down next to him and pulled another bottle from..somewhere, russian magic.
he chugged the whole thing down.
"The hell-" he was confused as to who this stranger was, his ears pinned.
"ignore him, just eh.." he finished his bottle then leaned forward and fell forward then fell on his face with his but in the air. "ow-"
"But who is he??" He got a growl in his voice now, he was ready for a possible fight, staring them dead in the eyes with a harsh and cold look. He wasn't even paying attention to egg fully, partially due to having chugged that vodka.
"eh, some booty call" he shook his, feeling slightly fuzzy now thanks to the alcohol.
"whys it matter? hes gOnE."
"Wait what-" he only processed the part about the booty call "so your telling me, that shortie you, got horny and desperate last night?-"
"yeah- whys that a surprize eh?" he sat up and on his knees then put his chin on the couch.
"bet you get desperate and horny too asshole."
"More often then most people actually, but then again I usually just get drunk enough for it to go away, even then that doesn't always work, so you just gotta seal that feeling away sometimes. Unless if there's someone at any f*cking bar that's not terrified as soon as I walk in, or just want my pelt, then I might wake up in a hotel room, usually the other person's home tho" alcohol+Shade= no filter

he climbed backup onto the couch and up near him, putting his head on his thigh.
His tail wagged slowly, looking down at him, not minding it too much. "I personally dissagree"
"Okay then, if that's what you wanna do, the go ahead" he was pretty damn relaxed now.
he yawned then crawled into his lap (cuz tiny) and curled into a ball.
He just pet him, his tail wagging slowly still, not minding him in his lap.
he flinched a first then stayed still.
(thinking of a way to progress this)

Shade still petted him, kinda wanting to cuddle him fully.

he tilted his he and leaned into his claws and used his back paw to try and scratch at it.

he came back a minute later with a sock in his mouth, no reason why, Egg was just a little strange. He hopped back up on the couch not really registering he was laying on the whole thing and sat on him.
Shade didn't mind it, he had to much alcohol in his system to complain about anything at all, he was just calm and mellow, though a little confused about the sock. "Why the sock?.."
he shrugged and completely laid down. he put his sock down and sniffed it then chewed on it.
"You are a silly Fox" he casually patted him, his ears still perked.

he spat the sock out then immediately picked it back up.
Shade continued to pet him, noticing him watching his hand/paw.
"i dunno and i don't care." he opened the fridge and started pushing things around. "why? you got something in mind?"
"not really, I was just wondering if you had any ideas was all"
"naw, head box go brr." He closed the fridge forgetting why he opened it anyway.
"pfft-alright then" His ears were still perked, happily laying on the couch, trying to think of ideas.
