Maybe she had some sort of past that maybe hurt her? If she likes you and doesn't let you go, it probably means she may have dealt with being left behind and forgotten..

Lavender: *gives u the file, its about Mommy Long Legs and what they did*
Mommy is alone...she wants a friend...thats why when she has you, she won't let you go. Because she needs someone..
Kissy Missy: I mean, if she wasn't so mean to Poppy or us, I would spend time with her
It's different with you guys. You aren't kids or were there to help her. With kids, she's a mother to them so she feels like she's needed. Mommy is probably mean because she has a bad experience with other experiments or people so I guess you remind her of them..?
Lavender: *picks up some other things and straitened the room up a bit*
Huggy Wuggy: I've noticed this room has all the info about Mommy, wonder if the kept her in here
*place the file down* I'm going to look for Mommy. *leaves and starts wondering around the place looking for her*

Woah! There are so many tools! *has stars in my eyes while looking at different tools*
Alright! I'll start now! *grabs different tools and gadgets and starts working*
*after about 2 hours, I made a voicebox and I look at Lavender* SO I made it but I need to put it in you..Do you trust me.?
I think he's out. All we need to do is open up his chest, put the voicebox in, connect it and sew his chest up. Not to hard but will take time.
*after about two hours, I finish sewing up Lavenders chest and start cleaning the equipment*
Lavender: *thumbs up*
Mommy: And now I'll do my part and teach him how to speak, cause it doesn't always come naturally
Lavender: *when he giggled he made noise* *he hugged u tightly*
