He just kept smiling, "Really! I'm used to it!" He gave one of his world famous out of place laughs-

(I just realized that I gave Nagito anxiety whenever he wasn't given affection for long periods of time- he must be mentally dying at this point-) Nagito just kinda sat there quietly, still smiling

"Dunno. Just feel like it," Nagito shrugged, "It might just be my BPD, but who knows?"

Nagito started playing with a random pebble he found on the ground

He just kept playing with the pebble out of boredom

Nagito nodded, "Mmhm"

"Of course not. I'm the one that offered my body up for use, They're just doing what I offered," Nagito smiled more, "It's not what I expected when I told them they could use me as a stepping stone, but it works" he shrugged

He blinked, "Is something wrong...?"

He blinked, before laughing, "Why not?"

Nagito tilted his head, "If there is, then it's a bit late for that-- and, anyway, I'm a masochist, I'm fine"

"Yknow...Somebody that gets pleasure from pain?" Nagito tilted his head

Nagito went back to playing with pebbles

"Well...Yknow...When you get used to something, you just grow to like it," Nagito shrugged

Nagito shrugged, "Well, unless you were, like, being forced to kill people or something. That's something you might not grow to like." (I'd say stop foreshadowing but in this world the killing game doesn't happen the same way-)

Nagito gave a relieved look and just went to playing with pebbles again

Nagito paused before standing up, still a bit shakey. He took an uneasy step forward and looked to Gundham, "If you stay by me and keep me from stumbling, we could get to the sheltered area by the Main Course. If you wanted."

Nagito started walking in the direction of the area. He stumbled a few times, but luckily didn't fall...Well, he fell right when they got under the shelter, but shush

Nagito went into a sitting position, smiling, "Yep!"

He tilted hishead, "Soo...Find any way to get back home yet?"

"Ah...I see.."

Nagito thought for a moment, "What if...You don't get back to your world...?"

Nagito winced, "I...See" he glanced away, murmuring something inaudible

"Nope," Nagito shook his head

Nagito went to just playing with some grass

Nagito kept playing with grass, unsure of what else to do

Nagito looked up, "You alright?"

"Ah...Alright then.."

Nagito blinked, suprised and unsure of what to say

Nagito copied the hamsters movement by tilting his own head

Nagito chuckled and raised his arms in a way to copy the hamster, making a noise similar to what noise the Hamster made

Nagito blushed heavily in embarrassment, immediately stopping what he was doing, coughing awkwardly

Nagito nodded, "Yeah"

Nagito moved to lean against the wall as well, also closing his eyes

Nagito slowly fell asleep, though fell asleep long after Gundham did (I'm gonna do something with Hajime finding them just to make things awkward- is that ok-?)

In the morning, Nagito woke up to a figure giving them a curious look, before snapping his eyes to be shut again as soon as he realized it was Hajime... Of course. Just he luck. He really hoped Gundham would wake up and shoo him away

Hajime tilted his head, looking puzzled,"Uh...Hi? What're you two doing here?"

"Why? Doesn't Nagito have a place? Why not just go there?" Hajime blinked a few times. Nagito winced slightly under his fake sleeping face, hoping that Gundham had a good response

Hajime gave a relieved look, "I..See." he gave a slightly sad look in the direction of Nagito, obviously wishing he could actually talk to Nagito, before shaking his head, "Well....Uh...I'll leave you alone," he turned away and started to walk away, making Nagito give a relieved sound under his breathp

Nagito opened his eyes and stretched, "...Thanks"

Nagito started playing with grass, "I guess I should go to the Reserve Course soon, huh?" Nagito murmured

"Uh..I walked here yesterday, so I should be able to," he shrugged

Nagito unsteadily stood up, "uh..See you, then," he murmured, starting to walk/limp towards the Reserve Course

Fuyuhiko was just near the gates of the school, quietly leaning against a tree since it wasn't time to enter yet

Fuyuhiko looked up to Gundham, "What're ya starin' at?" He snapped

"Well, Den, keep passin' by and don't stare," Fuyuhiko huffed

"Yeah, I am," Fuyuhiko huffed, "What of it?"

"Tch..'lowly mortal'" he repeated in a grumble

He glared at Gundham, "So...Yer that interdimensional weirdo, right?" He grumbled

"Hmph. Weird," he mumbled

"Tch...Me? Weird?" Fuyuhiko murmured

"Hah. I guess that makes sense," Fuyuhiko huffed

"Yakuza, eh? Not dat hard ta imagine," Fuyuhiko murmured

(T I m e s k I p t h e n) After school, Nagito limped back to the shelter, looking even worse than yesterday but didn't seem like he cared at all as he sat down

"No, of course not," he smiled brightly, "Why would they be?"

"To take out their anger, of course. You can't damage school property, you don't have any pillows, but you have a person willing to be used since their a masochist," Nagito tilted his head, not undefrstanding

Nagito laughed softly, "I don't see why you're so concerned about it..."

"What do you mean?" Nagito blinked, "I thought it was normal for lower lifeforms such as myself" (Did you know: Whenever Gundham in either world ever has said 'lowly mortal' or even just 'mortal' to Nagito Nagito literally takes that as if he's a lowly human being)

"I've grown up with it," he blinked

"It is normal," Nagito nodded, "At least for me"

"Is something wrong?" He blinked

"All right then" Nagito shrugged

(Me: tries to bring up childhood abuse Gundham: let's just not question anything ever-) Nagito played with some grass

(PFFF-) "Well, I've been getting this sort of treatment since I was, like, five, so," Nagito shrugged, continuing to poke at the ground

"My stepfather, sometimes my mother," Nagito shrugged

"Punishment, pleasure, whatever," Nagito shrugged

Nagito blinked, "...It's not?"

"But it's fine!" Nagito smiled a bit, "It really doesn't matter"

Nagito blinked, "But, then, I wouldn't want to be hurt or used and if I didn't want to be hurt or used then I would just be useless," his breathing grew a bit heavy with panic of his thoughts, "a-and if I was useless, I wouldn't be use*ful* and if I wasn't that then I-I'd have no real purpose...A-and then I wouldn't have ever been friends with H-Hajime or met Kenji, or,, or,,," he stopped to try and calm down his breathing

"I would be..!" Nagito breathed out. (He literally was taught for more than five years that this was the only way he could possibly be useful So It'd take a lot of time to get him out of this state of mind)

(Pffff---) Nagito looked to Gundham, still panicked, "O-of course I would...If I'm useless then I'm useless, there-s nothing else I can do..."

"W-what..?" He blinked

"I've done all of those things other than work on my interests. They hardly seem to make any impact..." Nagito mumbled

"Is being a steppingstone considered an interest? Cuz, if not, I don't have any" Nagito shrughed

"Well, I joined theatre, but that's just cuz they requested me to join," he shrugged

"Well, it's entertaining to others, and I'm fulfilling the request, so I enjoy it, I guess," Nagito tilted his head, "But that's the same feeling about letting my body get used"

He blinked, "Most things require payment. As you probably have noticed by now, I don't have the money for anything *important*, let alone something for my own enjoyment. So, no, I haven't tried"

He smiled slightly, "I appreciate your concern, but I'm just a lost cause. Another hopeless person nobody can help," he shrugged, "Don't let it get to you. Even the Ultimate Therapist doesn't know how to help me most of the time"

He went back to poking the ground

Nagito stood up, stretching and yawning

"Alright, I guess" he shrugged, "But uh...I have to go see Kenji for a couple hours, is that alright?"

Much later, Nagito came back, smiling happily despite the fact he looked even worse than before, and he just,,, Sat down as if he wasn't covered in more bruises, "Hiiii"

Nagito nodded, "Mhm, of course it did"

"Hm?" Nagito blinked, "Not really..."

He blinked, looking down to himself, "oh-" he laughed sheepishly, "I asked him to bruise me, actually"

"Masochism?" Nagito shrugged

Nagito nodded, "Mmmmhm. Cuz I did basically beg," he laughed

"Of course not. He's an ultimate...And, anyway, I wouldn't even be able to," he tilted his head, "I can't bruise somebody even if I tried"

"Because I *am* a masochist," Nagito blinked

"Huh?" Nagito blinked, obviously overly confused

"But...How is it abuse if I'm asking for it?" Nagito blinked a few times

Nagito leaned back, just deciding that he should shut up

Nagito poked at the ground quietly

Nagito looked up, "No, no, you didn't do anything wrong," Nagito shook his head

Nagito eventually got bored and just laid down

He just laid there quietly

"Just...Walked," he shrugged, sitting down

He poked quietly at the ground

"How are you this morning?" He murmured

"Great," he smiled more

"Of course not," Nagito shrugged, even though he was

Nagito looked away quietly

Nagito was just laying on the ground, basically a puddle of just emotional breakdown...Ness, not knowing Gundham was there

Nagito flinched immediately sitting up and smiling to Gundham, "A-Ah..! Mister Tanaka! Hello!"

"Ah- yeah- f-fine, just.. Part of one of my mental health problems, Haha-" he laughed even though he was crying

"Help..? I don't w-w--wan--- need-- help--" he wiped his eyes

He kept wiping at his eyes to clear his tears but they kept coming

He took it gratefully, wiping his tears and blowing his nose. His sobs carried on for a while, until it finally died down to just sniffles

"Y-yeah," Nagito nodded

"Sorry..." he murmured

"For breaking down like that..."

He winced slightly, leaning against the wall, "still, I'm sorry"

"N-no..." Nagito murmured

"Huh?" Nagito blinked

"There *isn't* anything. I'm *fine*" he mumbled

Nagito shakily got up, leaning against the wall

"Do you want to go back?" He murmured

"Mmk..." he sort of hesitated, as if waiting for Gundham to start walking so he could follow

Nagito followed quietly, and leaned against the wall once they got there

Nagito just stood there quietly, looking out into the distance and thinking to himself quietly

"Fine," Nagito nodded

"Well, that's cuz I'm thinking," he chuckled

"Things," Nagito murmured

(Oh jeez I'm so sorry-) "Y-yeah, of course"

"I...Suppose?" He shrugged

He fell silent

Nagito played with his fingers, going back into thinking mode

By that time, Nagito had yet again miraculously dissappeared-

Nagito had ended up calling Kenji and requesting to talk, so...Now he was near the Reserve Course building, talking to his lover

"...That's nonesence," Kenji spat,"I'm not *jealous*, I just can't see why you'd hug somebody in a ****ing public bathroom and then expect me to not be angry" Nagito flinched, backing up, "I-I just meant- Why are you so angry? I was just getting comfort, a-and- I just- in general, I'm worried that you just..Want me to say you have me...?" He kicked the ground nervously, "I-I mean, you don't hug me, or kiss me, and I know that isn't your love language but why would you be with me I-if you knew how clingy I am? So..Do you love me? Or do- gh-" Nagito's eyes widened slightly when he got hit in the face by Kenji. Kenji blinked, looking to his hand with a look of confusion, before looking to Nagito's now-red face from the amount of force Kenji brought down on him. His face softened slightly, and he placed his hands on Nagito's face, using his thumbs to wipe Nagito's tears that were about to fall out. "Sorry, dear... I truly am," his voice...Didn't show it, but Nagito obviously believed him; "I just can't

Stand seeing you like this..Thinking I don't love you...Of course I love you,:" he gently hugged Nagito, who immediately hugged back, crying. Kenji had a look of discomfort and slight disgust but tried to hide it, "It's alright...Let it out..." he murmured

Nagito sobbed for a while, until his finally calmed down and pulled back from Kenji (who was relieved), sniffling and rubbing his eyes, "You...Truly love me...?" Nagito murmured. "Of course I do," Kenji stood up straighter, "Why else would I have cut the rope when I saw you hanging, hm? If you really were just a toy, I would've simply went out to get a new one. Now, I have an appointment," he hesitated, "Are you alright?" Nagito nodded, "Y-yeah..." he sniffled. "Good," he roughly ruffled Nagito's hair, before walking off to his appointment, leaving Nagito to recover from his crying by himself

Nagito flinched, "Ah- yeah, I'm fine," he nodded, smiling brightly

Nagito blinked, "No"

"Something in my eye," he mumbled, wiping a tear

"...No," he looked to the ground

"Why were you spying?" He retorted

"Coming out right after Kenji left? Hamsters squeaking during our conversastion?" He raised an eyebrow, "immediately pointing out my face instead of the fact I'm crying...That seems to all add up to spying"

"You listened in on a conversastion that wasn't your business. Basically the same," he shrugged

"..." he looked in the direction, "Why are you still with me? Why don't you go find somewhere else to go? Surely you've found someone willing to give you shelter," he murmured, "Why would you want to live under a makeshift shelter with some stupid person such as myself when you could be living under a roof with much nicer people?"

"To grow more accustomed to something more healthy and comfortable?" He shrugged

"You could be stuck here for an entire year, Mister tanaka..Do you want to stay like this all year?"
