Sun Pelt bounded through the undergrowth chasing a squirrel near skyclans border

Mothstar lapped the fresh water from the flowing stream. Her bushy tail curled around her paws as she felt the cool breeze of rising sun drift across her pelt.
Sun Pelt leaped on top of the squirrel killing it with a clean blow. He looked proudly at his catch and picked it up.
Sun Pelt looked up startled and dropped the squirrel. "I-im on thunderclan territory last time I checked " he said picking up the squirrel again.
Mothstar got up and stretched, the sunlight beaming onto her fur. She padded towards the hunting grounds. Her ears twitched as she saw Bluefur and another cat. She stalked up towards them.
"What's going on?" She asked, her gaze landing on the prey that smelled of Skyclan.
He looked at the new cat. "I just caught this squirrel that ran from Skyclan territory onto thunderclan territory ."

"And speaking with this cat" he said nodding towards the cat on the tree
"Then that makes it Skyclan prey. You have stolen from Skyclan!" Her fur pricked up. Her long, thin, black claws unsheathed.
"Uh, but, it was caught on my territory. Not yours" he said keeping his position

"And if you pass onto our territory for no reason, then your breaking the code"
"So? It came from Skyclan territory, making it our prey. Hasn't your mother taught you the warrior code?" She snarled, her ears pinning back.
"Do not lecture me about the code! You have stolen prey!" She growled, raising her voice.
"Then let me tell you something, kit." Her eyes turned into slits. "Part of the warrior code is no stealing prey! I have not trespassed."
I do not wish to fight you, I'm trying to reason with you. It was fought in my territory not yours, therefore making it mine.
"Look, if it comes from Skyclan territory, if it runs or not, its our prey. You shouldn't even be this close to our territory. Killed on your territory or not, its still Skyclan prey. I will confront Kestrelstar about this at the gathering tonight. You may have kept your fur on for now, but you will learn the warrior code." She growled, and turned around, stalking back to their camp. "And if you don't learn.... I'll make you.." She growled under her breath.

Mothstar slumped into her den. Peachfur slowly walked into her den. "You okay?" Peachfur asked. "Kestrelstar needs to contain her warriors! One broke the code! They caught our prey and then accused me of trespassing! They said it was theirs-" Mothstar snarled. "Good thing Starclan told you not to rip their fur off! They would've been dead for sure!" She tried to joke. Mothstar growled at her. "I know that you have seen my kill Berrystar, but do not think you can hide it for long..." She hissed.

Peachfur started to shake. "Y-yes, Mothstar.." She than left the den. "Arrghhh!! Who does that cat think he is?! 'Oh well i caught it on my territory-' that's against the warrior code!! And then acussing me of trespassing on MY territory?! AGHH!" Mothstar yowled.
