some people can find it difficult to go at a close friend who acts like that though puper, like, a friend might say something thats kinfa homophobic and you brush it off, or a family member might do it and you think its just cause its how they were raised, its still important to confront them but it can be difficult. it has to be done, even if gently

Im acting all agressive but I know how hard it can be to actually deal with this shit and how careful you might have to be explaining some of these topics to certain people. in the end though if they refuse to 7nderstand and continue to be hateful knowingly, you cant just continue to be friends with them or be all noce with them

if its someone you cant cut off you just have to openly express your disgust with what they are doing until they leave or pull their act together

and the only time it might be okay to let people get away with it, is if it might put you in harms way. if you have to deny homosexuality to keep your parenst from like, thinking your gay, and hurting you for it, thats perfectly fine, you dont have to purlt yourself in harms way for activism, look out for yourself. but if you have no devastating consequences for pointing out someones bullshit and you still dont, then **** right off
