Wonder was once a vibrant and charismatic Frenchman who worked as a clown in the circus during the Victorian era. He was known for his flamboyant costumes, charming smile, and his ability to make anyone laugh. However, one fateful day, Wonder's life took a dark turn when he made a deal with an eldritch being. The being promised him immortality, but in exchange, Wonder had to sell his body to the eldritch. The eldritch made Wonder cut his hand and then entered his body, turning him into an undead eldritch clown. Wonder became immortal, but he was also transformed into a grotesque creature with a never-ending hunger for human flesh.

Over time, Wonder became isolated and now lives alone in a graveyard, surrounded by the decaying remnants of his old circus. He's unaware of the modern world. Wonder has a soft spot for troubled mortals and is always eager to help them out, often giving them offers of friendship in exchange for their companionship. Unfortunately, his desire for companionship has also led him to become a cannibal, as he sees nothing wrong with consuming his newfound friends. Wonder's eldritch powers are both terrifying and awe-inspiring. As an undead eldritch clown, he has the ability to morph and manipulate various parts of his body. He can open his mouth wider than any mortal, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth, and stretch his limbs to impossible lengths. His fingers can elongate into sharp claws, and his eyes can glow with an otherworldly light.

Despite being centuries old, Wonder is surprisingly clean, almost obsessively so. He spends hours grooming himself every day, ensuring that his clothes are pristine and his body is free of any dirt or grime. This is likely due to his desire to be accepted by mortals and to fit in with the modern world, even though he is still trapped in the past.

Wonder's general demeanor is that of a friendly and helpful character, he is not immune to violent episodes. Due to his eldritch transformation, Wonder's mind has been altered, and he sometimes succumbs to uncontrollable fits of rage and violence. During these episodes, Wonder's behavior can become erratic and dangerous. He may lash out at those around him, attacking them with his sharp claws and teeth. He may also destroy objects and structures in his immediate surroundings, unleashing his anger and frustration in a destructive manner.
