LinkTrying. To prove a point to my brother that chose to be bisexual. And thinks that fetishized sexualities like anime sexual are valid,,
Is sexuality a choice?

i feel like since we grow up with the idea that straight is the way we should go, that our sexuality is a mix of both our choice and not a choice. i think attraction is chemical, so that wouldnt be a choice if you are attracted to whatever gender, but the mental part of growing up in a straight world can be a thing too, so its a choice to leave that mindset and identify as something other then straight, and acknowledge those chemical in our brains. overall i think its a bit of both yea
like i have a bi-curious friend thats like "if i could be a lesbian. i would. but theres a part of me thats still attracted to men and i cant change that"
