Character X is somewhere they should not be, Character Y has to sneak them out. Character X tries to help Character Y overcome a fear, irrational or otherwise. Character X has a secret, and they need to keep Character Y from telling. Character X stole (or “borrowed”) something from Character Y, who wants it back. Both characters go on vacation somewhere, voluntarily or involuntarily. In a morbid mood, Character X asks Character Y what they think about death. One or both characters can temporarily read each other's auras. Character X accidentally gives Character Y a black eye, broken nose, or split lip. Character X has to get Character Y somewhere on time, but they’re already running late. Both characters are trapped together in a small, enclosed space.
