it starts out when Apple meets Pear at a party. Pear cheers her up since Apple was pretty bummed out about something or the other, eventually they then end up together. Pear doesn't necessarily care or love Apple the same way Apple loves her, and neither of them know much about relationships. It starts out healthy enough before devolving into Pears new interest, cannibalism. She urges Apple into eating her through telling Apple that they'd be "together forever" in a sense. Apple goes through with it, and immediately regrets it, missing the person who cheered her up. It then turns into seeing Pear everywhere she goes, yet it's never her.

I think the idea spurred on by people saying cannibalism [as in the person eating another] is inherently selfish. So I thought it being the other way around would be cool.

Apple consumes Pear literally, but Pear has consumed Apple figuratively.

TBH whenever I draw them happy it feels like a completely different universe in a sense, though those situations also happen in the one where things go horrible
