This is mainly focusing on the protagonists of books 1 - 4. So basically, what I'm thinking is having the first 3 protagonists to be ya know, cruel? And like, change throughout the story. Noticing their mistakes and change their ways, except that Frett (protagonist for book 3), will not change into a better person, he will just become controlling and more violent out of anger/spite. Especially towards his son (Edwardin, protagonist of book 4), for unknown reasons, I haven't figured that out yet. Edwardin will not be a tyrant towards his land nor his own son. Yet, he would lack emotion(?), sympathy and trust because of his father/past. And would be easily angered. As the story goes on, he will change. He would gain the ability to be able to trust others and sympathy. His attitude would change, but then, when he learns the truth. That's when he starts changing again to be more depressed because it's a lost, a secret everyone has been keeping from him. Something logical, not for quirky reasons.

But that happens when he is fighting Allake, Allake spits the truth out or it would be Nidwarde. But the story doesn't end there, his death would be the last thing that happens.
