im still trying to see if there are any other lookalikes for safe measure but ive been sent some pics of a mushroom that seems to be 1 of 2 different types of boletus, both being choice edibles, oyguoghfjkfhrkdjf

and it looks young and fresh so it would be prime time to harvest and they are telling me there are more musbrooms in the yard and i cannot wait to get off work AUUUAUAHHSHFHBF

so far everything is checking out white polypore, only one of the species im looking at is actually found around this earea so im pretty sure its that. white webbing on stem white cap that ages to be yellowing light tan (but its fully white rn heheheh) and olive brown spore print. cannot wait to get a spore print omg
