I’d be that person to accidentally block someone and then have a heart attack. Seriously, I accidentally unfollow people a lot.

That's one of the two downsides
The other being if the person you blocked wants to apologise or whatever if it was an argument like we had, then you wouldn't be able to receive their apology. That'd really suck.
That’s another fair point, but someone who is friends with that person could say it
Downside to that is it isn’t the actual person saying it
