yes, but the featured anims will be shown on their own tab in the browse section,and not on the top bar also they will be sorted by age (newest feature = top)

possibly, but 1. flipanim creator has been dead for quite a long time 2. it's against the TOS to copy or redistribute code/assets, but we are making our own

One last question, will there be an option for display names? And will you ever have to use out of pocket money to do this?

about display names: usernames and user IDs are implemented currently. usernames don't have to be unique, since users are separated by ID

yes. since featured anims will have slightly less recognition and will be in a different place (see one of my comments above), it won't cause problems to delete an anim

Since this is based off flipanim, what are some thing you wont be adding to the v2 in og flipanim?
