Linkjust study hand anatomy so you can get the jist of most the shapes.
fingers can be like hell, but once you get used to it after a while, fingers can be fun, just having them be noodly when drawing kind of cartoony or just messing around.
look at your own hands for reference.
get an idea of how realistic you want to get, and if it would match your art style

Linkdrawing a circle as a base or a square as a base doesnt matter, a hand isnt really square or circular, so long as you tactics feel comfortable and work for you. try different ways of drawing hands, try to practice things from different perspectives once you feel like you know the basics of hand drawing, it will help when you actually use it in drawings
