As Six walked her claws quietly made scraping sounds as she made her way across the room. When she entered the closet on the opposite side of the room, her eyes glided from two cages to a shelf than another self with the faint outline of a vent. The dragonet then proceeded to climb the cages, jump to one shelf then the other before going through the vent. Crouching down she entered the vent, quickly making her way through the dark space before jumping down into the next room. Landing on a box Six watched as a rat scurried away. She jumped down, she would have continued to keep going if it wasn’t for a sudden pain in her gut, like she hadn't eaten in weeks. She’d eaten just the other day, and had never had this kind of hunger pain before. It was as if she were about to die. Her scales shifted to a dull white as she staggered on, stopping a few times when it hurt too much to move. The dragonet didn’t even really acknowledge the bars to her left that prevented her from crossing into a cafeteria.

That is, until she saw another dragonet on the other side of the bars eating something. Painfully she padded over, she leaned on the bars for support, as more pain ripped through her gut. “Hay!” Six whispered. The dragonet looked up, his shimmering white and ice blue scales catching what little light there was between the two rooms. “Yes?” he asked barely above a whisper. Six looked pleadingly at what she could now see as a strawberry on the dragonet’s plate, before another rush of pain caused her to double over. The dragonet sighed as he grabbed the piece of food, and carried over to the bars before handing it to Six. Rather violently Six grabbed the piece of fruit, her sharp teeth tearing through the berry with ease. Red strawberry juice tinted her snout and claws, making it look like she’d just killed something. Once she was done she wiped her snout off with part of her raincoat, before looking over at the dragonet who’d given her the strawberry and nodding a thank you.

The icy blue and white dragonet nodded back to her, and went back to the table he’d been at before. Six sighed, as she continued past the rest of the bared off area, and through a gap in the bars she could reach by climbing up boxes. Pushing forward Six passed a noose, the showers, and stopped when she came to more electrified bars. She growled in annoyance as she looked around, her eyes slowly shifted upwards. The dragonet huffed before jumping onto the nearest box. Slowly Six made her way up the stacks of cages and boxes until she reached a ledge. Pouncing Six made it to a few cages that were dangling from a chain. She squeaked as she almost slid off the cages from the power of her jump. Her claws scraped against the mettle as she pulled herself on top of the cages. Shaking out her wings and shoulders she climbed up the chain and jumped to a higher platform. The dragonet patted over to more cages, quickly climbing up, onto yet another platform.

Curiosity Six tried the lever on the floor, she kept trying to push or pull it, but the thing didn’t budge an inch. She huffed in annoyance before looking at the lever on the wall, she tilted her head as she padded over to it. Reaching up she jumped to grab it, but it was just out of reach. Scowling her eyes darted around looking for something she could use to boost herself up. Her still sticky claws clenched together, as her wings drooped. She flinched as her hurt wing hit the ground, an idea popped into the dragonet’s head. Unfurling her wings she bit her lip as she readed herself to jump up. Jumping she flapped her wings, hissing in pain, as her wings helped push her up, giving her enough height to reach the lever’s handle. The lever slid down with the weight of the small dragon pulling it down, and once it fell Six let go. Gritting her teeth as she shakily pushed herself onto her feet, her wing stung, and she had to choke back tears.

Old chains squeaked against the mettle pull that hoisted up the cages attached to the chains. Slowly, Six made her way to the lever in the middle, now being able to move it. Testing out both directions, she pulled it towards her before pushing it back, and running to jump onto the moving cages. Once she reached the other side she climbed up the chain, her bad wing painfully flopped at her side. When she jumped off and landed onto the platform that led to a room, she painfully folded her wing against her side. Padding over into the room, Six looked around in it, another set of electrified bars blocked the room to the left. The small dragon’s eyes quickly spotted a lever, and then filed cabinets near it. Six opened one of the bottom cabinets, climbed onto the open cabinet, jumped to one that was slightly open, and then onto the lever. Immediately after the lever was pulled, the place was plunged into darkness as the power turned off.

Quickly Six slipped through the bars, and looked at the hole in the middle of the room. Flicking her lighter on, Six walked over and lit a lamp on the other side of the room, with a little more light she spotted a box tied to a rope, and pushed the box into the hole. Swiftly a noose was pulled up as the box fell. A painful smile crossed the dragonet’s face, jumping up, she grabbed onto the noose. Apparently the dragonet was about as heavy as the box as her body weight pulled the rope down. Six dropped down, cringing a bit from the pain in her wing when she landed. Again Six hissed in pain, but she pushed on. As the dragonet entered the showers the distinct, ear bleeding sound of the leeches. She growled as she ran through the shower, as leeches dropped down from shower heads. Her claws scraped against the metal ground, as she hurried to the once electrified bars. Once there she was easily able to slip through the bars.

Passing through a small room filled with cages she saw, much to her displeasure, another room with one of those eyes. Annoyed Six huffed as she hid behind a stack of boxes. For a few minutes the dragonet watched as a janitorial cart rolled back and forth with the movement of the ship. She darted to the stack of boxes that would be closer to the cart when it rolled back. Once it rolled back, Six slipped behind it, and moved with it as the ship swayed, quickly coming to the stack of boxes on the other side of the room. The dragonet only had to wait a moment for the light to shine away so she could continue on. Six hummed quietly to herself, as she stared across a bridge. Suddenly the bridge started to retract in front and behind her, “Give me a brake” she scowled.

Quickly she ran, jumped over the small gap that was created and scrambled onto the box that was on the other half of the bridge, then jumped onto the other side’s stationary platform. Slowly she continued on spotting a few gnomes and chasing after them. Leaving the prison behind.

Yea I'm still doing it! Just had writers block for three moths and like to be at least one chapter behind what's written on my google doc. I got no idea why XD but I got two chapters for part 2 done and no longer have writers block :D
