maybe ive drawn this guy too much but he still looks like Him but with long hair which i consider an achievement anyways now to talk about his lore. no, he didnt do drugs constantly. he liked the vibes but really wasnt high that much. i mean. he wasnt straight edge but he never really felt drawn to psychedelics. he already saw plenty of weird shit in his past and expected he would continue to see weird shit in the future, so what's the point of doing a drug to see weird shit. by this point he had started to market himself around as an architect, and didn't get much work because he was a crunchy hippie type, but he still got some especially from people who wanted weird hippie designs. he didn't really worry about it much. this was one of the few times in his life where he just tried to live in the moment and have fun instead of thinking about the future or the past or his personal big picture ambitions. for a bit he could just draw on peoples pants and make some extra cash tie dying shirts

he had no one to report to and no one that he needed to think about. this was probably also the time where he actually Accepted that he was just gay, and no amount of "trying it out" with women would "fix" him. he didnt really Date anyone, but he'll willingly admit to sleeping around a bit during that era. he just sees it as a part of his past, not something to be ashamed of.
