LMAO Slate: -He smiled back and stretched out his wings, they started to ache from being folded all the time and him not flying often-

Slate: -He laid down after she left and spread out his wings on the grass-

Slate: -He groomed his paws like the selfish guy he was, he must look perfect to show off-

Slate: -He got up and jumped up, letting his wings catch the wind. He tried to fly but ended up losing strength in his wings and crash landing into a lake- AAAAAA

Slate: -He splashed out of the surface of the lake, gasping for air and coughing, he got out and shook his coat- HhhHH yes but now my fur is ruined.

Slate: -He fake laughed and started to groom himself yet again, pushing the rest of the water out-

Slate: -He laughed with her, and continued to desperately groom himself-

Slate: -He wagged his tail violently, shaking the water out of it, then groomed it-

Slate: So, what were you trying to say? -He licked his paw and rubbed his head, like a cat-

Slate: Yes, I know that. I haven't flown for years, I forgot how to, to put it simply.

Slate: Yep. I don't like flying. -He didn't tell her why, but it was because he's afraid of heights-

Slate: -He watched her fly, and he wanted to try again but his stomach was twisted in knots after trying to fly those two times-

Slate: -He sighed and spread his wings once again, he hopped into the air and hovered for a moment. He looked down and got scared, he fell- No.

Slate: Am not! -He huffed-

Slate: Yeah yeah, I'm a show chicken. A fancy golden pheasant chicken. I don't need to fly to be perfect.

Slate: Hmph. -He continued to fix his fur- No more flying today, it keeps ruining my perfect fur.

Slate: Well I have it and it must be perfect.

Slate: I do have a brain, but unfortunately your caught in your own lies.
