LinkAs Aiya stepped through the cave she felt a cold draft of wind prance past her feathers and fur. As the air danced adn swirled around her, all she could feel were the small claws of fear making their way up her spine. Where was she? What was this place? She could see nothing yet she felt everything. She heard each drop of water plunk rhythmically into a puddle below. She felt each gust and turn of the wind as they glanced along to the rhythm of the droplets.
That's what finally got her to realize there must be somewhere the wind was coming from. Beckoning her to urge forward, she walked on. Each step was met with cold, flat stone. Sometimes, there'd be a trickle of water flowing past. Nonetheless, she continued to move. She pushed on even when the swift, elegant movements of the wind were becoming harsh. It battered at her feathers, billowing them from one direction to the next and making a roar echo into her ears but she didn't give up. She wanted out of this cave, and now.
Before she knew it, it was

Linkbecoming a struggle to even take another step. What was creating such powerful wind in the middle of a cave? There was nothing visible in side, it just didn't make sense.
With a sudden cry, she felt her next step extend further than where she'd thought the ground would be. Her heart lept as fear washed over her body, making it take a moment before she realized she was falling against wind that was pushing upwards. In her panic, she struggle to open her wings, yelping when he body suddenly lurched up as the wind caught her wings and pulled her with the draft.
She frantically tried to keep them spread and straight to let the wind guide her, looking up to see her destination, only to have a feeling of odd relief wash over her. There was light, and she was coming towards it rather fast.
As she watched it come ever closer, she realized it was an opening to the side. if she positioned herself just right, she would catch it. Twisting her body, she used her wings to direct her, watching as it sped closer.

LinkEntirely unsure herself how she managed, in a flash of desperation, her talons had latched onto thestone and she practically threw herself into the light and out of the wind. With her chest heaving with heavy breaths, she sat up to get a glance at her new surroundings.
The first thing that caught her eye was the giant tree in the middle of the large cavern. It's bark twisted against itself, making strange formations that had been used to hold some sort of small houses. Amon the leaves of the trees were luminescent fruit, glowing in a myriad of gentle colors, though strangely sending a wave of comfort across her conscience. Where was she?
As Aiya was processing such a sight, she began to realize if there were houses, there were people...probably. She convinced herself to look around. Thats when she began to notice in the windows of some of the houses are small, reptilian faces poking out to see her.
Her eyes widened in the realization as she began to realize the sacred grounds she'd stumbled upon.
