LinkAmazing visuals and nice fun stuff about the internet. But I was disappointed for poor character development in the sequel. Plot was a wreck and they forgot to send Felix in to fix it hehe... Cause oh boy they could've fixed it.
This being said in comparison to prev movie. Some of my friends however enjoyed it. And so it's up to you.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

LinkPoor character development ... This is about vanellope. Her game is plugged out and she and Ralph are trying to find get the only piece available on the internet to fix it.
This is Ralph's idea. They go to the internet, try to get the piece, end up needing actual money for it. All thru this she's a mess.. thinking she doesn't have a game, she's homeless, etc but Ralph keeps telling her ... We'll get the piece .. we will get the money.... And he ends up making a bunch of fun videos of himself to get tons of likes from people and make money... All to prevent vanellope's game from being removed.

LinkAt the end of which she isn't interested in her game she wants to stay at another better racing game and race there... Forever. She doesn't want sugar rush. She wasnt satisfied with it's repetitive nature. So she wants a much more interesting racing game.
While Ralph gets the money and pays for the piece needed, he finds out she wants to leave the sugar rush game. He freaks out... And sends in a virus to make the new game boring. Just to get her back.

LinkVanellope didn't tell him her plans as she's afraid of what may happen... That they'll stop being friends.

LinkBut at the end because of the virus the entire blame/fault is on Ralph. She's mad at him for what he did...the ending is the virus multiplies making copies of Ralphs being a pathetic clingy insecure friend who destroys friendships........... And Ralph manages to get over his insecurities and be friends and let her go.

Link1.The plot is over looking the fact that vanellope shrugged off her old life and..... cast aside her responsibilities as the main member of sugar rush responsible for all the characters in her game, a game in which she couldn't race and her place was taken away by force...she was going to just walk away from all of it without dealing with her past. Following your dreams is important but not trusting ralph, not ensuring that sugar rush would be safe, forgetting all of this to follow a dream is a neglected topic here ...as the plot was entirely focussed on Ralph not letting go of his friend, and not even a bit about how she handled this situation. Yes Ralph wanted to make her stay by putting a virus in... He did make a mistake and she tells him that a friend would never do that. But he never calls her out for not being honest with him.. also something a friend shouldn't do.

LinkI know Ralph values his friendship with her.. but I don't think she does the same.. and she doesn't deserve a friend like him.. she does come off as placing her satisfaction of being in a better game over her friendship with him.

Link2.This is a mirror of the old movie... He does something stupid to keep her safe.. in this case close to him, he's sorry, she forgives, and he saves the game ..in this case internet, from a virus that's made of his insecurity.

Link3.The movie is about letting ur friend go. But it does solely call ralphs behaviour the reason for the friendship suffering, and neglects how vanellope treated this friendship. Ralph did everything to fix vanellope's game here. He was insecure and probably ready to do anything for her, which is too much. But if you can't call out her behaviour towards her friend, even a little bit, it comes off being hypocritical and one sided.

Link4.Chasing ur dreams is important... But being honest with those who love you is also important. If they truly love u the way Ralph loves vanellope, they won't stand in ur way.

Link5.So if the movie just recognised her mistakes as much as it did his, it would've been better. But it does not top Ralph falling from a great height to smash a mentos tower saying the words... There's no one I'd rather be but me.

Linkmy review: I hate how Ralph acts. He acts more of a weenie then like, a grown man. In the first one he acted more like a bad guy. He even had a rage fit and smashed the cake. If this happend in the second he probably would have went home crying like some idiot. He is supposed to take care of Vanellope, but it's more like she's taking care of him. Thos where my thoughts.

LinkTrue, Ralph does act like a clingy five-year-old.
