I stared up into the darkness of the cavern. I could barely see, my vision was still blurry. It was hard to stay sane. I’d been here for a couple of days now. At least, I thought it was a couple of days. When my eyes adjusted, I shuddered. I saw more eyes staring back at me than I had a couple of days ago. I now saw hands, reaching out to me, trying to grab at me. They wanted to strangle me. They wanted my light. I would not let them have my light. I needed my light. It was all I had. My light is my lifeline. Looking down, I screamed. Tears ran down my cheeks. I could see the skeletons of those before me. Those ripped of their light. It was enough to make me dizzy. I was alone. Alone. I was going to die here. I’m going to die here. They don’t know where I am. I can’t get out. They’re going to kill me. I can’t get out.
