LinkAvioles (like 'have' with no h Ave-ee-oal-lehs)
Avioles are rare beasts often found in places where they could climb or fly around, being mountain ranges or large forests, though they have been know for being in places like savannahs, tundras, or other unusual places
Avioles males are about 12 feet tall on average, while females are maybe 10. Males are often known to be stonger, but female can be quicker, though thats no to say a female can't kill a male or etc. They also mate for life, and are extremely protective over dens, posessions, and hatchlings
yes, their young hatch from eggs and hatch extremely fluffy, this is so for those that grow high in mountains don't freeze as newborns, and can camoflauge as like dust bunnies or fur patches. They have high pitched squeaks when they want their mom like birds.
Aviole wings can glide, fly, and climb easily. The feather-like segments on the end of their wings are actually hard and can made sharpened to defend.

LinkThe masks are their source of power. They can be taken off, but if destroyed that aviole with cease to exist entirely. When an Aviole dies, their spirits reside into the masks, leaving only the masks which can be used to bring them to life.
You must be trained to bring an aviole back to life, or you risk the chance of failing and losing your own life as well

LinkActual facts for when designing one:
Always have four ears, though they can have fur on the ends or not.
Always have furry manes and forelegs, though you can have fur on their spines
Tails can look like anything, though the common tail is lion-like
Their color schemes can be any colors
