So origins: All conjurers get their magic from the Goddess Abraxas! She has given mortals a portion of her power, so to be a conjurer, you embody her power. A conjurer can be born as a conjurer or made into one! Which means there can be vampires and demons who are also conjurers! To become a conjurer, you must sacrifice 3 goats and a prized possession (oftentimes it’s like. A loved on who is sacrificed bc greedy power hungry people want the good powers) to Abraxas.

What are peculiarities? Well, all born conjurers have peculiarities! They can be both physical and non-physical! As seen with Dottie on slide 2, peculiarities can be non-natural hair colors being a person’s natural hair color, and oddly colored eyes! Setsuko has one peculiarity, and that is her cat eyes! Morana has 4! The less peculiarities a conjurer has, the more likely they are of noble conjurer blood. It’s not uncommon for non-noble conjurers to have one to two peculiarities only, but it’s a very slim chance. Most conjurers have 2-3 non-physical and physical peculiarities. Vicis, a noble conjurer, has no physical peculiarities whatsoever. He looks like a regular mortal boy.

(And ask me why they r peculiar if u would like) Non-physical peculiarities are more of peculiarities for the conjurer’s spiritual appearance! The spirit is where the magic has bonded with the conjurer anyway so it is natural for them to be a lil flamboyant. For Dottie, she cannot be identified as a conjurer by anyone but a conjurer. To one person, her spirit appears to be angelic, to another, demonic. It confuses other people. For Setsuko, her spirit appears as a happy memory. Whoever looks upon her soul will be reminded of one of their fondest memories. I think u get the gist now

It is very rare to have more than two non-physical peculiarities! Only nobles have more than three regularly.
