*Inhales in science because I'ma drop knowledge like it's hot. because I wanna* Time dilation only exists in small amounts. An object in motion travels through time faster than something stationary. Traveling only 10 years forward in time an object must travel at 99% the speed of light for a little over a year. So assuming you could theoretically somehow get that fast without dying you'd be in some kind of space for over a year without water or food not traveling back and forth in a blink. You'd need to travel faster than the speed of light for that. To travel BACK in time an object must move nearly 3000 x the speed of light. Not to mention the butterfly effect, and how any living thing moving that fast would have so much heat energy they'd most currently die.

We also must look at negative matter vs existing matter. If someone or something traveled back in time and poked/toughed ANY MATTER THAT MAKES THEM UP IN THE PRESENT (Traveling back in time to slap yourself for example) The result would be the two forms of matter completely annihilating each other.

And if one was to travel back to a point in time they didn’t exist, say, back in the Mesozoic period, the matter that makes them up is more so spread out. This makes them MORE likely to come into contact with matter that will eventually make them. And again I say butterfly effect here. This theory especially is very concerning as to why we should never tamper with time. Also showing how any “Time traveler” conspiracies are total BS so you can watch videos about that crud with no worries about the future because no one know what's gonna happen. In short: You need to be fire proof and heat resistant and able to zoom faster than the speed of light to time travel. Not to mention you also cannot slap you're younger self for being stupid or come into contact with any matter that will eventually make you or you and said matter will go boom. And you will properly screw up time.
