hey there!! my question for you is, how did you learn to draw the way you do now and how long did it take?
Well, I learned to draw realistically by repeating over and over (Perfectionism) on my drawings, I used to just draw random little cartoons, but when I found out that opacity was a thing, I tried drawing a realistic apple.. and it got featured! So I thought, "Dang. I should do this more often!" And so I practiced until I got really good at it :)
It surprisingly didn't take that long either, probably a month

omg hi!! when did you learn how to animate like that and whats some things you did to learn how to animate?
Well, first of all, you need to smear. like smear your frames ALOT. You also need to know the concept of squish and stretch, and flow, but those can probably be found on youtube. As for tweening, it takes patience. You need to ever-so-slightly move the drawing you want to move every single frame, and a regular animation for me can be up to 500 pages. It may look easy and lazy, but trust me, a lot of work goes into animation.

hey!! what inspired you to make Mario-based characters and do you have some character design advice?
Well Nintendo of course, but to be specific, Mario games (obviously)! XD
I don’t think I’m good at character design but I think a good character design should match its personality and have a good color palette.
When creating Maria and friends, I try to make the characters look either masculine or feminine while staying true to the design of their original counterparts.
Hey! Honestly surprised you would ask me to do one of these, but I'm happy to answer any questions for you!
I started the style I use now maybe half a year ago, but it has developed and improved based on artists that inspire me!
As for tips, art prompts help with art block, look at references if you get stuck on anatomy, and make sure you enjoy what you do!
Hey
Character Design gets a lot easier if you have already imagined a world that these characters live in. Focus on the things that are really interesting or on those that makes a character different from others!
The most important thing about art imo is to set a goal and be able to stay focused on it over several days.
Well, I have no idea what tips I got because a lot of them are just randomly. But there is one, and that’s not to make the design so complicated that you don’t wanna draw the character anymore. Make it simple but still challenging. Also make sure you don’t put neon like colors a lot, sometimes it’ll give you an eyesore with certain colors
