"No. Why?" David shrugs.

He follows him. "Why? You didn't answer my question."

"You're joking. Right?"

"Okay, where did he go if you were out here?"

"Nope! Don't go in there."

"How do you know? Don't you watch horror movies?"

"You really shouldn't be doing this." He said, trying to follow him.

"Just forget about this. We can call the police and they'll solve it. Be sensible at this."

"Again, call the police, make new friends, he'll be found, problem solved."

"He's probably dead now. Killers work quick, you know? "

"He'll just be broken by then, giving us less time to get him working in time to escape and we'll then be the next victims, dying together and right before I die, I'll get to tell you I told you so."

"Where are you going? You don't even know where you're going or where you are! You technically asking to be brutally murdered!"

"You're being dumb right now. "

"That's quite obvi-" He trips over what looks like a branch. He gets up and shrieks.

"It's an arm!"

"Shit, let's go. Right now." He says, walking back the way they came.

"Come on unless you wanna die."

"You know what? Fine, let's continue looking for my shitty brother." He says, walking back in the opposite direction.

He walks in silence, looking behind and to the sides of him frequently.

"This was your idea. I said we can go."

"Fine." He turns around and starts walking before he stops, frozen in his tracks. He looks at Fox in confusion. "Y-you don't hear him?"

"You don't hear him screaming? Begging for help?" He says, walking in a random direction, towards where he supposedly heard his brother.

"Looking for my brother."

He stops when he sees a seemingly normal cabin, smoke coming from the chimney. "He's in here. He said he is."

He walks up to the house and looks in the windows before going to the door.

He opens the door silently before walking in quietly.

He stops only to look around and continues in a different direction.

He stops at a door. "He said right here."

"He said he's right here."

Before Danny could even open the door, the door opened for him to reveal stairs leading into a dark space.

"No what? If he's really your friend, you'd come with me!"

"Shut up and just follow me."

He walks slowly and steadily down the stairs.

When he reaches the bottom, he turns to Fox. "You got a flashlight?"

"Cool." He walks forward before stopping.

"Turn around. Right now."

He followed him, eventually surpassing him.

"****!" He slows down to sling Fox around his shoulder and continued running.

"No you won't!"

"Just be quiet!"

He runs out of the house only to be stopped by a lumberjack. "Are you okay?" the lumberjack asked.

"We're coming from um...that side of the woods."

"I just saw you come out of my cabin there. I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to call the police and you both have to stay in there until they arrive."

"Come on, put the boy down and let's go." The lumberjack said, pulling Fox off of David's shoulder, only to have David tighten his grip on Fox. "No sir. We are on our way home. We just got lost and thought someone would have a phone for us to phone home."

"Best listen to your friend." The lumberjack said, smiling mysteriously. David puts Fox down gently, giving a tiny scoff after.

The lumberjack walks towards the cabin, occasionally looking back at the boys.

He rubs Fox's back. "Listen to me alright, the next time he looks back, we're making a run for it. I'll carry you." He whispers in Fox's ear.

"Who?"

"Your dad?"

"Wait, your dad lives in the woods as a lumberjack?"

"He just what?"

"What Fox? Just say it."

"Does your dad look like that?"

"Where's your dad been?"

"Is it possible he could be him, just, you know, changed?"

The lumberjack looked back once again and David picks up Fox and runs in the direction back to his house.

The lumberjack double looks before following them. "Hey! Get back here!"

He comes to the entrance of the woods before police raise their guns. "Freeze!" They yell. David stops in his tracks.

"No no, we're the ones who called about Johnny- What the ****?" He says, staring right at Johnny. The police put their guns down.

"There they are! I thought you guys ran off." Johnny said. David rubs Fox's back consolingly. "Thought we ran off? You ran off and WE went to go look for you!"

Johnny goes to pull Fox into a hug before David beats him to it. "What's wrong Fox?"

"You can stay with me."

"What's wrong Fox?" Johnny asked, looking at Fox with concern.

"Let's go into the house." Johnny says, reaching for his hand before David stops him. "You've done enough." David says sternly.

"No buddy." David answers.

"Who's that behind you guys?" Johnny asks, pointing to the lumberjack behind them.

The police seem to notice him and immediately go to arrest him.

"Let's go in the house." David said, walking towards the house.
