well yes, but it's not for just attention.
it's for awareness.
straight people have the whole year to express themselves, most of the time they encourage us to hide who we want to be.
seriously, y'all get way more time than a month and a few days.
and you realize straight people can help support too, sure they aren't truely apart of lgbtq+, but that doesnt mean they can't join in to help out.
everyone is loved and tolerated.
a month and a few days isnt nearly as much as what the rest get.
besides, yes, we may want attention, but it's because others have told us we don't matter and shouldn't exist at points.

i just wish everyone could get along. im tired of sexism, racism, homophobia, and people hating on straight people and hating on lgbt people. i wish people would quit that. everyone should be happy with who they are and shouldnt have to deal with people saying that "not being trans is BAD!!!" or "being a girl/boy is bad! being gay is WRONG!!!". but hopefully later in the future the lgbt and straight people and just. society in general will be more accepting of others.
