my rp is v strange... i kinda do it inna storytelling kinda way hope it isnt too offputting, plus i havnt rped in... years

"bwhaaack!!" *a voice bellows from below*

*a shadow fwipps up quickly and a figure lands on the branch adjacent to him* ???: "ah, I knew that branch falling was a bit big for just an animal to cause it"

(lol)

???: "its nothing, just wasn't expected-" *another branch clocks her in the top of her head and falls to the ground below* "..."

(I feel I can drop the -char:- thing so imma just smooth thing over) "huh... guess the info wasn't wrong" *see exclaimed while looking down at the branch which was just hitting the ground*

*she grabs a piece of paper from her bag and hands it to him* (what shall it protain?? wanted poster? odd job application? smth else?)

"ah, uhm... how do I say this..... uh, I'm looking for a guy. he's a bit on the wider side, tall as hell, and usually has a suit of armor on... OH! and he usually has a halberd on his back!" *she flips over the paper and shows a shitty hand-drawn image of a circle with what looks like an axe on his head... kinda funny looking*

"gah! Sorry, it's nothing... been looking for someone for a while now" *she stuffs the page in her bag and grabs a wire with a large blade attached to the end*

"not entirely sure wether it's boredom or just low on money... Either way, this guy is annoying to track!" *She wraps the wire into a contraption slowly*

(sorry if replies are slow, been playing dying light for a bit now)

"hmm" *she shuffles through her bag and pulls out a severed ear* "this should do the trick

"only found him once and he used a hostage to get away... I got his ear before he slipped away..." *She finishes wrapping the wire and grabs the handle at the end of it* "if you have time, think you could help me?"

*she hops from the branch, aims the strange device at the tree and it fires the spiked arrowhead at the end of the wire, pinning into the tree* *Sparks fly as the contraption reels in the wire hard, pulling her back up swinging her to the ground gently* "The names yumin, you can just call me yumi though... You?"

*she presses a trigger and the arrowhead unlodges itself from the tree and the wire reels back in completely* "right back atcha!" *she walks through some bushed and keeps following him*

"he's been trafficking demi-humans for years now... I haven't confirmed it yet but I've heard he has started doing human children too, and I cant stand that kind of thing..." *she aggressively shoves her device back in her bag as she follows him*

"yeah, he real annoying... and if it gets hairy he hides behind his- the people he's taken! it pisses me off!" *she hurtles over a log and cont walking*

*slowly following him she noticed a tree with miscolored bark up ahead. upon walking closer she could see a trapdoor rune crest carved into the tree with paint coloring it in to match the bark*

*she taps his shoulder and points him in the tree's direction* "see if you can find anything there... something tells me the scent will be strong there"

"hmmm... is there any way to activate it?"

"same here... wanna do the honors?" *she backs up and gestures at the tree*

*she stands there bewildered by his strength as another branch bonks her on the head* "What's thith my luck with branches today?!" *She picks up and tosses the branch down into the passage that was just revealed inside the tree*

*as the branch enters the dooway, spiked metal bars from all angles slamm into the walls*

*she smiles widely while holding her head where the branch hit* "agreed, now let's say hello" *She kicks the metal bars in caving them to the sides of the staircase and starts down the stairs*
