*Shadow looked at her cracked cage, it was slightly cracked, but the bars were bent horribly, but not enough for her to squeeze through. Her tail swished around, only her thing long tail could reach the desk that she was under and kept like a pet*
- Portal was just there, sat down. His expression was bland, as he looked at a light bulb in the ceiling. -
*Shadow slightly grabbed the broken bars and tried to open her cage, not even her inner strength worked, but then she used her back legs and clung onto the cage, the bars slightly broke open, but it was enough for her to walk out and hide in the dark shadows that hid here and there*
- Portal looked at the cage, but shrugged it off. He didn't want to deal with any bc (bullcrap) today, since he was a little ticked off. -
*The tiles on the floor sparked like diamonds, white and a bit of a dark blue was everywhere, and the wallpaper was plain black with tiny stars dotting around there, some were big and ended up as shooting stars. Shadow snapped her head away from the beauty of the paintings that were clipped to the wall, some were crooked*
" Where are you going? " Portal said. (His voice is a little mixture of soft to a little dark, due to experiments)
Shadow: I wanna look for the files they gave everyone. *She used her wings and flew up and dropped some files near Portal*
" Files? What for? " He floated some up to him, squeezing a few into his cage.

Shadow: Rumors say that one of them have a direction to the way out *She replied, files scattering around the room*
" I see.. " He said, reading and going through some pages.
*Shadow found 2 files that had nearly unreadable text, it was nearly brushed off and dusty* Hey can you read these 2 files out loud?
" Sure. " The files floated to him, squeezed through, and he started reading them.
"Huh.. It's about..."
"The way out?"
" It says we have to do some codes here, that are with [Scientist 1's name here], and the person who wrote it is [insert some creative former scientist name here].. "
" That's their names? Thought it was Mrs. Ellie and Mr. Will... Aanyways, going on.. We need to think of a plan to get out of this hellhole. " Portal continued flipping the pages for clues.
Shadow: Ahem, there's potions that are teloportation, dark magic, black magic, and other powerful spells that can get us out of this lab.
" I know, I know, this place made me forget. "
After 1 minute, he found a page.
" Found it. Hm... It says the first place to get the first code is in the main office. Should we check it out? " He looked at her.
" Alright. " Portal teleported out of the cage. " Let's go. "
*Shadow flew off into the Main Office then looked around for a switch, or atleast anything that could do*
Portal found a little button, and pressed it. A little piece of paper popped out, as he grabbed it. " I found a piece of paper! " He walked over to Shadow
Shadow: What does it say?
*She shot up in the air, still looking for clues*
He opened the file again. " This is the first one.. alright. The second one is in the laboratory's garden. " After reading it, he stored the paper inside.
