Linkpeople in one group of lgbtq+ aren't allowed to label others in a different group in a way they're not comfortable or don't agree with
i'm not going to sit here for 3 minutes giving examples, but one group won't know what it's like to live under the label and identity of another, and they don't know what's best for that group (i guess aside from if they identified that way before, which is an exception)

Linkbeing lgbtq+ doesn't suddenly bestow upon you all the correct knowledge about a group, and people who have made this point CLEARLY have not heard about the "lgb" movement. you might have more experience with trans people from being in the community, and you might know more than the average person, but that does not suddenly give you the right to derail a group.

Linki think this is related enough to mention but just to get this clear:
you are allowed to have opinions on another group. those opinions are allowed to be negative. you're allowed to not understand or not get a group and even if people are going to avoid you for it, you're allowed to hate a group. but you are NOT allowed to use that hate to hurt or derail that group.

Linkno matter how knowledgeable you think you are on a group for some obscure reason, unless you are apart of or were apart of that group you are not allowed to go after us. you do not know what's best for us, you don't know what our personal needs are, and you don't know what we go through. you might have seen part of it, but you don't *know*. don't speak to us like you do, and i won't do the same.

Linkthis especially goes out to any cis person acting like they know trans people, and especially even MORE to any cis person who is lgbtq+. because these were the people that prompted this post (but of course, not the only ones doing this).
listen, being trans is a complicated and stressful thing and is NOTHING like being cis. you have no clue what we are experiencing. you can do as much research as you like, you will never know us enough to label us as something we're not. because if you're labeling us as something we're not in the first place, it's clear that you don't know us.
i cant believe ppl still care about this shit like guys. guys. we're all gonna die either way do u rlly wanna waste ur time being like "[sexuality/gender] isnt lgbt/real" (unless the sexuality/gender is genuinely harmful but like.... other than that. :| bro let others live)
honestly back when i was a transmed i just remember thinking xenogenders were genuinely harmful to the trans community and hated being trans bc i was insecure as hell.. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ the transmed community is so ****ing insecure like. imagine genuinely believing ur transness is a mental illness... im not even mad i just feel bad for transmeds. but when it comes to cis "transmeds" (transphobes)... 😷🤢🤕🤒 get well soon WORSTIES /hj
