Kiwaki isn't one to make friends, and she barely socializes with anybody besides her sister, Murasaki. She gets nervous around big crowds, and especially strangers. One day, she runs into Takuma Hideo, a Storm High student outside school getting stuff for his parents. Kiwaki is lost, and he offers to bring her back to her family. Luckily for her, Takuma is actually very similar to her, and she finds out very quickly. He's quiet, soft spoken, and pretty bad with socializing. They get along quickly, in their own way, and she gets back with her family just fine. Later on, she suddenly starts appearing at the school, and everytime they see each other in the halls, they exchange an introverted nod and continue on. On the beach (A school vacation trip) Kiwaki runs into a potential kidnapper in a black hoodie. She runs and runs and tries to get away, and luckily she runs into Takuma again. The stranger tries to convince him that Kiwaki's her kid and she ran off, but Takuma is smart and takes Kiwaki away from them.
