OK context, I just wanted to make it scary but my mom used to tell me stories when she was a med student and would describe some crime scenes she worked in and she also told me about how she helped her prof extract DNA or something from the maggots on the body to help identify the person. Also, my dad was a cop for 20 years and would sometimes tell me stories. His worst one was the one where the dog ate of the owners face because it was trying to wake up its dead owner.
