Dunno if you like me or not (You may not even know me), but I was the host of several big collab events, similar to what I assume you're trying to do.
A big piece of advice for you is to try to make the collab private, or at least make it a private collab until it's released. That way you don't have to worry about users going on top of one another, or a lot of other issues you may experience along the way.
