So Gushous and humans have an interesting relationship. Humans first met with Gushous when a tribe of humans visited the ruins inhabited by Gushous. To humans that act with hostility towards the Gushous, the Gushous will kill and eat them. It is the Gushou that decides how painful the death will be. Quick, with one instant killing swipe, or painful, simply eating them without any prior killing. However, to humans that are friendly towards the gushous, the Gushous can form unbreakable bonds with humans. Often, a trusted human is able to ride on the back of the Gushou, and the Gushou will protect them at all costs, and curl up around them when sleeping.
