Swords often represent blood or violence because you cut people with swords, which causes them to bleed, right? And blood is red in oxygen? So why is Pokémon sword blue? Shields often represent defending, which is often portrayed as blue. Like in ssbu, defense spirits are blue, or in Harry potter, when the wizards make the big shield dome, it's blue. So why is sword blue and shield red? It just confuses me...
