most carnivorous or omnivorous fish eat urchins and scallops, and the herbivores eat whatever they would usually eat bc none of the plant life is sentient

some carnivores/omnivores become "cannibalistic" tho (think beastars!!) its illegal but it happens anyways, usually in the hadal and abyssal sectors where ur less likely to get caught

sort of ! they have little air domes in the epipelagic sectors of most oceans for the land creatures to visit, as well as submarines that are essentially water buses for them as well (similar to the reverse submarines, which is basically just a bus with water inside for sea creatures to visit land, with water zones near the coast on land too)

they arent rlly public 'pools' tho, just visitor centers rlly there r "pools" underwater tho! they r just very toxic and u cant swim in them at all (they r called brine pools!!)

And when visiting land they can survive for a while out of water or they need to look funny SpongeBob visiting sandy style

plenty of fish r actually pretty resilient and can survive for a little while without water, so the same can be said for most of the fish fellas :] its just intensely uncomfortable and they have to sort of "hold their breath", they dont dry out with the intensity that spongebob does or anything tho

they could wear some funny suits similar to spongebob tho yeah !! not JUST a fish bowl pn their heads, but smth like a spacesuit filled with water and a filter somewhere on there could make things more accessible for some fish, it just wouldnt look the most fashionable
