anwyays, the character that's drawn properly is Tam's mother, Darcie. the short girl is Tam and the dude is her father, Tyler.

Tyler didn't do anything to Tam, so here's the context:

after Tam's murder, vehicular manslaughter/homicide, both of her parents fell into a deep depression from grief. Tyler killed himself by throwing himself off a bridge and into some body of water. which is why his lungs are displayed here (Tam's death is displayed as well, her jaw was basically ripped off her face so violently that it cut an artery which killed her). the mother is the only one who lives till the end of the story. she wanted to be the one to hunt down Tam's attackers, but she was way too depressed to do so but she dreamt of it. instead, someone else got their hands on the attackers.

actually, might change Tam's death to bleeding out because of the lower jaw being ripped off which damaged the jugular or some other major vein instead of artery.
