Nick was in the back of the library carrying a stack of papers and books to a desk, looked to heavy for a person-

Nick looked over to ant and shakked his head- no I'll be fine. (this boi is in his human form rn so just imagine his hair is brown and his skin is like not blue and take away the horn and tail so he appears as a normal bookworm)

Nick set the books and paperwork down and then proceeded to walk by a desk by her to grab a bigger stack of paper and books-

Nick grabbed them and picked them up but seemed to struggle a bit-

Nick looked at ant- oh? You dont have too.

Nick suddenly took the papers from you and walked casually to his desk- I wasnt actually struggling. But thank you for helping me with something. -he checked something off on a long long list- heaven -he muttered-

Nick looked tired while he looked back and forth at the long list and a "computer"-

Nick picked up a phone- There are -insert big number- souls going to hell and -insert smaller but still big number- are going to heaven, is there any more work you need me to do?

The guy on the other side voice was muffled- Nick looked at some papers- not many people came in the library this week. -insert muffled voice- Nick frowned- well its not my fault people dont go to library's like they did a decade ago!

-muffled voice- Nick sighed- I'll work overtime then, not like I have anything to do other then see who goes to hell and heaven. Its stupid, these humans think its all "god" who choses but nope! Its me! Sorry boss I'll go -he hung up the phone and rested his head on the desk- ****. -he mumbled-

Nick let out a frustrated groan then he took a sip of his "drink" and continued to check things off-

Nick got up and saw some of the feathers- ...?

Nick picked up a feather and stood out the bathroom not wanting to be rude- Is anyone in there? Are you okay?

Nick analyzed the feather leaned on the wall waiting for ant- Are you getting your wings now? Not many ants have those

(I know that part but nick is nick so-) Nick taps his foot slightly impatiently-

Nick- Can you give me a yes or no too if your fine?

nick started to walk in- then I'm coming in.

Nick walked in and wasnt surprised but not totally stone faced- neat, I'v only seen this a few times, Neat thing you ants do. last one I saw was about a few decades ago I think..?

Nick poked her wing curiously while noting things down- I know, there was a ant before you with feathered wings tho, he died and was sent to hell. I remember listing him off

Nick leaned close to ant- I'v been living since the start of time darling I'v seen it all. -his skin turned to blue and his hair dark blue, his horns reformed and his tail popped out- I am Nick, I am the one who decides who goes to hell or heaven, nice to meet you.

Nick straightened his back- D-d-did I stutter? -he said slightly mockingly- (He's kinda a dick when he's super stressed)

Nick turned to look at her and then walked back to his desk- bye bye little ant

Nick sat down in his chair and spinned a bit before taking a sip of tea- Your never yourself without some good tea nick. -he mumbled to himself- (Usually he's a n i c e guy)

Nick got up and headed outside in his human form- I need some air

Nick sat down by a bench in a park, it was quiet-

Nick got up and frowned and looked at his list to do's- search souls..check. go to..store and buy a...dammit. -he got up and looked around for a store-

Nick saw ant go in and he frowned- This will be awkward... -he walked in a few minutes after ant and avoided making contact-

Nick looked around and back at the list- (what type of store is this?)

(hell ya!! I love me some no name brand clothing) Nick walks into a corner of the store and grabs a fruit- This should be it..? Why would Lucifer hide it in a Walmart though..?

Nick scans the fruit- "Only 3 out all these ten are the fruit that can make one live forever"..he said. -he was trying to figure out what 3 to take-

Nick eyes widened- Wait!! -he had put one hand on ants without realizing it- dont take this fruit..yet.

(coughs)
