*sigh* ok--spoilers-- when Wren is talking to the mysterious black dragon in the dragon city (Possibility), she learns his name is Murderbasket. It's confirmed that Murderbasket is Deathbringer, and if you look on page 371 in the hardcover edition, Sky is telling wren that he thinks the dragon's name is, and I quote, "'Maybe it's Death-sonething? Deathwarrior? DeathConqueror?'" to which Wren replies, "'No, it wasn't either of those... Anyway, he was just fine with Murderbasket. I wonder how he assassinates other dragons. He was incredibly stealthy.'" she wondered hoe he ASSASSINATES other dragons. What other loveable assassin do we know? Deathbringer.

can't its not out yet. And anyway if you're an informed wings of fire fan, you know the protagonist is Queen Snowfall of the Icewings, with help from Lynx, her right-talon dragon.
