because.....it can? and because of the deleted episode called Moppiness of doom, or somethin like that where neither can be motivated to actually do what they normally do because of the other quitting. The two cant go on without the other, it had sparked the ship....also cuz someone asked the voice actor of Dib to yell "I LOVE YOU ZIM!" into his microphone once i think in InvaderCon
i ship it, but not to much since i know it's love hate.....and im not always a fan of love hates and i could honestly as why Tord X Tom exists....tho im probs gonna get hate cuz it is for some reason a vary popular ship that, in a sense...is disgusting and doesnt make sense
but.
they hate each other.
remember that one episode were Dib get godly powers and put zim in one of those huge test tubes?
