( so just gonna add this serpent cyan roams these forests )

( something swooshed over amber's head and went into the thick canopy of leaves leaving a small glimpse of cyan )

( it went into the forest )

( its seems like something was tempting you to go in )

( little blue flowers speckle the ground and the bark of the trees have a odd glowing moss growing on them and small almost wisp like things hazily float in the air )

( a whisp slowly drifted towards amber...it emits a soft and soothing warmth when near )

( it slowly drifts past and lands on a patch of grass and the same blue flowers sprout out of the ground and it drifts away )

( this got the attention of a creature that lurks here as it weaved its way near the cries of help )

( suddenly a huge serpent dropped from the leaves its size threatens you )

( the serpent slowly lowered its head and realized ??? could hurt him like everyone else he met so he slowly backed away whimpering in fear )

( the serpent halfway in the bushes silently spoke ) ???: p-please don't hurt m-me!

???: " o-oh usually everyone tries to kill me because im a " threat " to them "

???: " oh, ok i might think new objects are food because im hungry and i never find a food source around these parts "

???: " i-i guess being big and scary??? "

???: " huh...also im cryptid "

???: " im the mysterious monster that roams these magical forests and is always blamed for the disappearances of shapes "

cryptid: " i've been trying to exit my own home for food because the forests food supplies are gone but that barrier is even keeping me in "

( cryptids body was visibly skinnier then his normal size and he seems partially frail ) " but i can get enough power if i get 5 shards scattered around in this huge forest, and unlock my max power...but...uh this forests huge "

( cryptid started to freak out he can fight but he cant fight as well with the hunger pains hes going through )

( cryptid backed away very, very slowly )

( cryptid stumbled onto a shard and gained a green wing extension and created a forcefield between the three and the creature )

cryptid: " wha-WHAT IS THAT THING "

cryptid: " i cant hold this force field on for long, do something! "

( cryptid is protecting hex- )

( cryptid turned off his forcefield and put his tail to his stomach wincing ) " these hunger pains are getting worse- "

cryptid: " y-yeah just haven't eaten in a week- that's why hunger pains are a thing that's happening to me- "

( suddenly a soft glow loomed over everyone )

cryptid: i-its getting dark and when it gets dark around here vicious creatures start to hunt-

( hed eat the steak in one bite which made him feel better and looked around ) " i have a shelter around here "

( cryptid offered hex to climb on his back so he can fly to his shelter )

( cryptid flew to a huge tree with with a hidden doorway and went inside )

( there where whispies in jars which emit light and a few leaf beds )

cryptid: hear what?

( cryptid laid down on a hammock like leaf bed and turning into his shell form ( literally tucking all his body parts as tight as possible ) )

( cryptid was the first to wake up, stretching his wings and getting out of his shell form )

( cryptid looked at brad and placed a note saying " gone off to find another power shard " and flew off )

( the note was on the door )

( cryptid flew around and landed near a small temple...and went in he was shat by a few arrows and bitten by some mysterious bugs and got trapped in a net and struggled but got the yellow power shard and left with a few bugs hitchhiking on him )

( cryptid came back with red marks on his tail and neck and the yellow wing extensions )

cryptid: " i-i got the...yellow...p-power shard- " ( he was tried from struggling in a net for half of the trip )

cryptid: " t-thanks guys... " ( he folded his wings and took a moment to regain his energy )

cryptid: " alright, i wanna test out my new power now "

( crypted raised his wings and the yellow extensions switched to the first spot and he zoomed and face planted into a tree ) " ow- "

( hed get startled and extended his wings he didnt know what amber looked like so he freaked out and his size might also scare amber if shes awake )

( cryptid accidentally hit his head on a tree h a r d and cracked a bit and fell unconscious )

( he went into his shell form his core ( the dark square in the middle of his body ) slightly cracked )

( cryptid is still just f a i n t )
