Idk I just hate artstyles where the character looks drenched in ****in vegetable oil and I think I subconsciously imbedded it into my style grrr

There’s just not a good..inbetween for me rn I can either go really colorful and have issues with showing the shading Or really dark and desaturated which I also don’t like

I’m still hung up on drawing really fast too which is driving me crazy

Idk 27 hrs on that is a lil crazy too me, it’s forgivable because I allowed myself some patience since it was for an art competition- BUT 27 hrs is still crazy too me It’s like..I don’t grasp techniques enough to just produce art like a printer,,then again a lot of the people I used to be jealous of for drawing I noticed always drew the hands the wrong way or their anatomy just bugged me cuz it looked off and I stopped being jealous BUT STILL

I need to get better at being patient with myself,,it honestly sucks that I can draw nearly as fast as I want to but if I don’t slow down I can’t see what I’m doing wrong Great Ted talk Jericho

My sketches are chicken scratch it’d take longer to clean them up than just do the lineart, besides I prefer- clean lines,,
