Linkall because i didnt get the $10,000 scholarship when I entered my rodeo art competition piece
apparently im not good enough even in the things im "supposedly interested in"
he didnt even acknowledge the fact that I still got third place in the painting category, and that there were like 200 other students entering their artwork
third place, with an unfinished piece. I didnt finish my pig. and I got third place.

Linkand my friend did get the $10,000 scholarship (she drew her grandpa in a cowboy hat and it was really good)
she got top 10 overall
i shouldnt have told my family that she got the scholarship cos hes comparing me to her
You are the best, tell him that he's not doing a good enough job of parenting. He needs to encourage what you want to to, not drive you away from it.
its sad that a lot of us middleschool/highschool kids are used to this stuff
