Do i have to be the one that explains to the child what hooters is or can someone else do it

sometimes i think to myself this person has to be lying about their age no 16 year old is that mediocre at art and then i remember the kid who is graduating high school with me tomorrow who believes his dragon ball z traces are better art than any creative writing

anime art is inherently mediocre learn fundamentals i feel like pewdiepie telling everyone to read the greeks

The fundamentals arent about style, theyre composition, color theory, anatomy, the realism basics. So few people on this site actually understand composition. I dont follow this to a T but personally i think it is a better idea to learn fundamentals before you stylize, really drill down to the basics because you're never really done learning them, and if you think you are thats when the bad habits start This is all from experience of having my progress set back by years bc i thought "i dont need to learn anatomy, only how to draw anime!"

quick tip to immediately make any drawing better, use the rule of thirds or center ur drawing. Some nice composition is the easiest way to take your art from a 4 to a 6, and it is noticeable if the comp is bad
