A year later he found out and confronted her step-mother. Unfortunately, her dad wanted to break up with her and she was not happy because of all the money she would be missing out on so she stabbed him and buried him in the backyard. Cordelia was so upset she killed her step-mother and buried HER in the backyard. Thats when she became a yandere.
